Care Instructions for Your Refinished Bathtub

To keep your refinished tub looking new and to maintain your warranty, please follow these care guidelines:

1. Wait 24 hours before using the tub.

This allows the coating to fully cure and harden.

2. Use only non-abrasive cleaners.

Avoid harsh products, bleach-based powders, scrub pads, Magic Erasers, or anything abrasive. These can dull or damage the coating.

Recommended cleaners include mild liquid soaps and non-abrasive bathroom cleaners.

3. Avoid bath mats with suction cups.

Suction cups trap moisture and can lift the finish over time. If you need extra traction, ask us about safe alternatives.

4. Keep chemicals away from the surface.

Hair dyes, drain cleaners, harsh acids, and bleach-based products can stain or weaken the coating.

5. Do not leave standing water in the tub.

Make sure the faucet doesn’t drip continuously.

6. Clean regularly.

A quick wipe-down after use helps prevent soap buildup and keeps your finish looking brand new.

Owner-Occupied Homes – 5 Year Warranty

Bathtubs refinished in owner-occupied residential homes are covered for 5 years against:

Peeling

Cracking

Bubbling

Adhesion failure

This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials when the tub is properly cared for following our guidelines.

Commercial & Rental Properties – 1 Year Warranty

For rentals, Airbnbs, hotels, property management units, and all commercial properties, we provide a 1-year warranty covering peeling and adhesion issues.

Due to significantly higher usage and wear, commercial warranty terms are shorter but still guarantee professional performance.

Warranty Limitations

The warranty does not cover:

Damage from abrasive cleaners or scrub pads

Bath mats with suction cups

Chips or damage caused by dropping objects

Plumbing leaks causing water damage under the coating

Stains caused by dyes or harsh chemicals

Structural issues in the tub that weren’t repairable

If a warranty claim is needed, we will schedule an inspection and repair the affected area as required.
